My husband and I stayed here 1 night to catch a cruise the next day from Canada Place. You could easily walk to shops and to port. A 7 eleven is a block away as is a liquor store, Subway and plenty of other choices. We paid $118USD which was more than I would have liked to pay to stay... more

The hotel isn't all that bad. Yeah it looks old and grungy but the price of where its located is perfect. If youre there to have a good time its just a block down from granville and a few blocks away from all the bars and clubs. plus theres a liquor store right below it.. perfect right? But if youre... more

I stayed here with my wife and 10 month son. I had stayed at the Travelodge in Kelowna and Seattle and assumed this would have at least similiar standards. What a mistake. I usually do a quick review check and I wish I had for this place. The staff were very friendly and courteous but that is the only good... more

Cheap and somewhat grungy, as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. My girlfriend and I were doing the tourist thing in Vancouver, BC and decided on this hotel because it was inexpensive and located close to downtown. 4-days, 3-nights. If I knew how good the bus service was downtown, I wouldn't have minded staying at a location... more

I was very worried when I read the other views of for TL Central, and had visions of a rundown slum with dealers on the balcony and bloodstains on the walls. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find the staff quite friendly, and to be provided with a reasonably clean room in which everything worked. For less than $CAN100 per... more

Stayed at the Vancouver Centre Travelodge for Memorial Day Weekend. Fantastic location to walk or catch a ride on double decker trolley/bus or small boat taxi's to many of the tourist sites. I just left my car parked at the hotel for the city excursions. In the past I have stayed at other, more luxury hotels at this location and... more

We had to submit a formal complaint about the security at the above hotel. Unfortunately this complaint resulted only in a bland apology without giving any measures taken to improve the situation. We had a room adjacent to an external fire escape.A notice on the door to this escape stated that it was "alarmed", and therefore to use it only in... more

I decided to stay at the Travel Lodge because it was priced right. Never again will I try to save money on lodging. The room was small, dirty, the beds extremely hard, furniture was chipped and the carpet had large stains. My view from the room was of a dumpster. I stayed in the room for 2 minutes and then... more
