The best thing about this hotel is the location. You can walk to every interesting part in the city, we even walked to Stanley Park. The rooms are quite small but our luggage for three weeks Canada did fit in. We did not hear any noise from the bar or the street, the isolation was good enough. Breakfast was great,... more

I stayed at the Comfort Inn Downtown with a friend last weekend and loved it for the most part. The staff was wonderful. Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful from the moment we checked in. There was one particular front desk clerk (who seemed to work 24 hours a day because she was always there when we walked through... more

The hotel itself was fine, the rooms were reasonable and the breakfasts in the Irish Pub were nice. The main problem with the Comfort Inn is the location. Its not in the nicest part of Vancouver with doggy people hanging around the street corners. Vancouver is a lovely place in the daytime but at night its completely different. The Comfort... more

This was the first hotel of 9 different ones we stayed in during our trip to Vancouver and the Rocky Mountains. It was a very good first impression. The hotel is excellent value for money, one of few which includes a complimentary breakfast in the rate. The breakfast was very good too! Location is also excellent with friendly staff at... more

The hotel itself was clean and clearly recently renovated. I wouldn't recommend for a romantic weekend in the city. But if you're looking for a central location to go out and hit the town, this spot works. It's near a few bars and there are homeless people around. But as a single female who stayed there, I did not feel... more

We stayed at the Comfort Inn Vancouver in May 2006 with two friends for three nights. On our arrival in front of the hotel we first had a "negative feeling" about the surroundings. There seemed to be some beggars and some shady guys in the area, but this feeling was not confirmed during the following three days, as there are... more

This is a reasonably priced and centrally located small hotel. Rooms vary greatly in size an amenities, so it is worth paying a bit extra for a larger room. We stayed here for a week, and when we checked in, we were informed that we had been upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite. This was especially nice since we had... more

The hotel itself is fine. The staff was attentive and the room was clean. The location is terrible though. Our room looked out onto some sort of homeless shelter -- a nice view of ratty sneakers sitting on open windowsills. I grew up in New York, but it was 1 block from the hotel that I first ever saw someone... more

For my birthday my husband of ten years gave me a special trip to the city. I was amazed at what looked like a lot of trouble. I have never heard of this typeof romance package before, it makes it really easy for men to be thoughtful. We were given a room with a king sized bed and a jucuzzi... more
