The hotel was in a great location close to everything in the village. The suite we had was very convenient as we had kitchen facilities and a table to eat at. We tried a lot of activities thanks to the help of the front desk. We will definately be back. more

Nice advertsing for the Olympics. We were met in the hallway by loud, drunken young men with open beer and the smell of majiuana in the hallway. We asked for a one-bedroom suite. Instead we had a queen bed and a murphy bed (get written confirmation of the type of room you have requested. You will have no choice one in... more

Excellent value for money as we got a good price with HW. Parking in the garage was not included in the price. Got one of the studios with fireplace, kitchen and washer/dryer. It got a little cramped when the Murphy was down and it would not have been fun if it had been a skiing holiday! But otherwise everything was... more

Our room (513) was a studio with a full kitchen, washer/dryer, and a fireplace. I was a little disappointed that the bed was a double, though. There was also a Murphy bed, which we didn't put down at all. I'm pretty sure there would only be a few inches of space between the Murphy and the regular bed if it... more

I was a bit nervous after reading other reviews, but I found the hotel to be OK. We really had no complaints about the staff, location or anything. Our biggest issue was the beds. They were AWFUL. We didn't sleep the first night at all. The second night we tried out the couch bed and it was better - which... more

We arrived in Whistler expecting a world class ski resort.... Unfortunately, we were a little disappointed. We booked in for 2 weeks in the Sunspree Holiday Inn, and for the price we paid it was a great hotel. The studio rooms for two are on the smaller side but had a functional kitchen area that worked well. You do not... more

we were recommended this hotel by friends and we were not disappointed. We asked for a room on the 'quiet' side (section C) and a balcony and both requests were granted & with a smile! The room was clean and had a kitchen which was fully functional. The room also had a w/machine and drier. The hotel is about 10... more

It was probably my fault. I expected Whistler to be a reasonably sophisticated place; say Banff or Jasper without the cars parked in the roads. As I found out to my cost, this is not the case; Canadians tell me that Whistler is now known as a ‘Party Town’, which is something completely different. My wife and I made the... more

My wife, daughter and I stayed at the Sunspree for three nights in August. The room was clean, very spacious and well equipped with a full kitchen. The location on 'Village Stroll' is excellent and the underground (pay) car park was very convenient. Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful, we arrived hours before the official check-in time but were given... more

Stayed at the Holiday Inn in May 2007 and I must say that our stay, albeit too short, was absolutely phenomenal. My wife and I did not expect this at all and we strongly recommend this hotel to anyone going up to Whistler. The room we had was fully equipped and it fealt like we were staying at someone's condo... more
