Wow.....please.....and i'm pleading to you. DO NOT STAY HERE. I have to admit that I didn't even make it through the night. My wife and I got there and we were greeted at the main office by a nice gentleman. He explained the routine for staying there (ie. breakfast, check out time). He then showed us where our room was.... more

General: This is a pretty cheap motel, so I didn't expect much. The rooms need some updating (musty smell, torn fabric here and there, heater didn't work properly), and the exterior of the place REALLY needs some work. The walls are very thin, as would be expected in such a place. There was a family with a couple of toddlers... more

We have stayed here many times before, but this time we booked for two nights and only stayed one. The rooms have gone downhill. Carpets are worn and smell musty. The apperance outside is very untidy. Luggage we had to carry up a spiral staircase to the 2nd floor. Breafast was included. Froot loops and dry muffins. Not like it... more

The first room that we go didn't have the beds made and wasn't clean. We went to the manager to tell them and they gave us another room. We went the that room and there was not heat. We had to go back to the manager to tell them about it nad they said we had to pick one of... more

First off, I booked online through their website. When I showed up, they gave me a smoking room. They said I never indicated what type I wanted so they presumed I want smoking (geez, they could've called and asked what my preference is). I didn't want a smokey room so I asked for a different room. They said I would... more

Idon't know how this place got a two star rating from CAA!! The appearance on the outside was very rundown with peeling paint, crumbling concrete. If we had seen it before hand we would have not even stopped! We had reserved over the phone and we where late for a wedding so we went in hoping the inside was better... more

I must admit, the staff was very helpful, but the view wasn't amazing. It still had a great location, and it was comfortable. I recomend if you're not looking for a place with a real "stunning" view. more

Just returned from spending a week in Nova Scotia. If you are looking for a quiet, cheaper motel that is located on a main throughfare to the downtown area and you don't mind the look of a 1960's motel then this might do. The room was large, AC, good view toward the bay, and clean. The front counter staff was... more

We (myself, wife and 13 yr old son) stayed here for a week in July 2004 during our first visit to Nova Scotia and Halifax area. The inn is excellently located overlooking the interesting Bedford Basin. Getting to the Halifax harbour (boardwalk, museums, downtown, Citadel) is quick and direct (Barrington St. all the way). The accomo were very clean and... more

We stayed here for 4 nights, and we really felt at home. The rooms were clean, well stocked with towels, and the coffee maker was a treat. The restaurant food was excellent. Breakfast was a specialty. Prices was of moderate range. Will definitely stay here again, as our daughter is in Dalhousie University and a visit is always necessary. Thank... more
