I have now stayed at Durochet twice, and was thoroughly pleased both times. The rooms are clean, private, very comfortable and well-decorated with a flair for the artistic. The hosts are friendly, full of tips about how to experience Montreal, and the Belgian chocolates are a bonus. I'll never stay in a hotel when I visit this city again. more

Great place! I need to stay regularly in Montreal to attend environmental meetings and after having stayed a few times in big hotel chains, I discovered this B&B. All rooms and suites are large, artistically decorated and provide you with a homy feeling where one can crash after a day of stressful meetings. We stayed for 3 days this past February in the downstairs apartment. The apartment is very tidy and looks like it was remodeled, with hardwood floors and tiled kitchen and bathroom.
