I agree with previous reviewers- location is great, but rooms are problematic. Our room had the most horrible smell- I can't imagine what it was. Since we visited on a very windy day, an open window helped a bit. Another reviewer mentioned that the bathrooms are "weird". We loved it. The neighbohood was safe, lively and busy all the time, and convenient. With the metro just down the street from the hotel, it was about 15 minutes to get into the city center. I was just there with my spouse and 8 year old child and should we go back to Montreal again, we will stay there.... more

The positives: The location is perfect. There is anything you could want or need within a 5 minute walk. Including the subway into the heart of town.
