All the good things you read about this hotel are true. The location is excellent for exploring Quebec City by foot. We had a suite with a huge bedroom (in the curve of the addition to the original building) and a living room with a fold out sofa. There was plenty of room for a cot. I was lucky and able to book a room at the last minute for Quebec City's 400th birthday. The hotel is quite nice, with an attractive lobby and well-maintained, well-furnished rooms. The staff offers excellent and friendly service. Rooms have wired internet only. The hotel's location, just outside a gate to Old Quebec, is quite convenient. more

From the time we arrived, with our car parked one and one half blocks away-because we had trouble navigating the one-way streets, the employees went above and beyond in offering exceptional service. After reading some reviews on Tripsadvisor I cancelled reservations at The lowes in Qubec City and made reservations at this hotel. The staff was delightful, helpful and went way above what i am use to from a front desk staff. The rooms were Clean and Location was excellent. more
