The sutie was great. Had to beg & threaten to check out to get feather pillows. The biggest problem was the noise from the bar & resturant 4 floors below.Even with ear plugs the noise went on till 4am every night. So we would not stay there again. The hotel charged us for a resturant bill we never charge.Took 20 mins to... more

This hotel was perfect, during the day. At night it was a completely different story. At the weekends the hotel bar stays open until 3 am and the noise and vibrations from the music could be felt in our room (I agree they are not really suites). Also, the port is within hearing distance so horns, alarms etc are all... more

Just back from a 3 night stay at the Le Port-Royal which we found pleasant and convenient. I booked a two bedroom suite directly through the hotel and found the staff very pleasant and helpful. The location of the hotel is excellent. It is convenient to shopping, restaurants and all in-town tourist attractions. There is not much of a lobby... more

the rooms were modern contemporary with a touch of rustic. Storage was in abundance for all our wedding attires and extra essentials. The kitchenettes are a great value add, and they dont expect you to do the dishes. The best part of our stay was definitely the people there that go out of their way everyday to make our visit... more

We stayed here for 5 nights while here for Skate America. We were 3 women. We had the one bedroom apt with sofa bed in the living room. Upon arriving we walked into the apt to find it lit, and beautiful classical music playing on the wall mounted CD player. We had a full kitchen and a convenient desk for... more

Friendly staff, great location (a stone’s throw from the much trumpeted Hotel Dominion), very spacious – truly like having your own apartment in a lovely section of Old Quebec. I was a little worried by one reviewer who said not to trust the photos on the website. However, I was pleased to find the suite was exactly how I had... more

From the moment we arrived and were given such a warm welcome to our departure 4 days later we were shown such friendliness. Hotel only 5 mins from station just on outskirts of Old City, which means either a ten min walk up a very steep hill or a trip up the funicular with spectacular views across St Lawrence River... more

We had a wonderful visit to Quebec City at the end of August. It was our 40th Anniversary and Roland, at the Port Royal suites ,made it particulary memorable. When we arrived we found a white rose and a chocolate rose as well as a pink banner, glitter and a congratulatory note on the lovely king size bed. Music from... more

I stayed there in April for two days with two friends- we had a suite there that was freshly painted, very modern, and tastefully decorated. The staff couldn't have been more helpful or friendlier, we were even offered tickets to the musical theatre playing nearby. Very lovely hotel and the suite was very convenient as it had a full kitchen,... more

They only have 6 or 7 suites, like the ones they show you in their web site, The rest are only small rooms with a microwave oven. When you get there they will tell you that the room you want costs twice as much, I spent two days arguing showing them their website were it says " ... our suites... more
