I had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Champlain. The room was nice (not as big as the photos made it look, but isn't that always the case...?) - bed was SUPER comfy, there is free high speed wireless internet, a small refrigerator, and pleasant furnishings. Was here for 1 night in June and loved this boutique hotel right in the heart of Quebec City. Our room was well appointed with jacuzzi tub, fireplace, pullout sofa, plasma tv and king bed. Iwas afraid that they would not be child friendly, but it was fine. I really liked this hotel and would definitely stay here again. more

The rooms are large and nicely appointed. Our view of the Chateau was amazing. The beds were hard - really too hard to be comfortable. My parents had to change hotels due to the beds. The location is very convenient to old town Quebec. It was a good choice for touring the city. The included breakfast was a little sad.... more

We stayed at the Hotel Champlain in April for 3 nights. The staff was very helpful, polite and kind with everybody. The hotel has a very special decoration and the rooms are beautiful! We stayed at hotel Champlain with our two daughters in June. The hotel is located on a quiet street so even with all the activities ( 400 annivresary of quebec city ) around we can't here a noise from our room. Stayed here recently for 5 days . A good time on all levels. Staff -helpful ,friendly ,made reservations for us ,efficient. Rooms -large ,clean,good views,very comfortable.Had 3 chairs ,table ,desk ,dresser,and small fridge. Location -can't be better ,in old town ,near everything,but not on a super-busy street. This is an excellent Hotel, just 2 minutes by walk to the Chateau Frontenac, in the middle of the great Old Quebec City. The staff are very very nice, polite and professional.
