My wife and I got a special invitation to Golf at the Edgewood Golf course at Lake Tahoe. We have stayed at the Quality Inn on other occasions and have always been satisfied with the personnel and the accomodations. This time we had a two room suite (#207) and were completely satisfied with the amenities and the comfort. Also, the... more

After I read all the negative reviews I got a bit discouraged, just like another reviewer. However, everything about this hotel was so much better than expected! Staff was friendly and helpful (available 24 hrs/day), rooms were clean and quiet (I guess we were lucky with our neighbors) and the breakfast was so much better than all the other breakfasts... more

We should have heeded the negative reviews on this site. Avoid this place at all costs and you'll be glad you did. We could overlook the tearing wall paper, the ripped curtains, and even the stained furniture. It was old but we just needed a place to sleep. Then, we came back on our second day to find the room... more

This is the nastiest hotel I've ever stayed at. I wouldn't even return even if it was free. The carpet needed its 10th year annual clean-up, the sheets was dirty, the bathroom was moldy, the heating unit made a loud buzzing sound the whole night, and the complimentary breakfast included run-down orange juice, powdered milk, and yogurt that was 10... more

Stayed here for 4 nights during 4th of July weekend. From the outside, looks like a typical motel/inn .. I and my wife had opted for the small rooms with Queen beds. Very very tiny rooms, probably the smallest I've ever stayed anywhere in the world. Saying that, it was value for money, we had booked the rooms through a... more

Good value for money motel rooms with continental breakfast. Friendly staff with a good Indian restaurant attached. Close to all of the Tahoe action and within walking distance from the Heavenly gondola (10 minutes). Hot tub was a bonus after a day on the slopes! more

This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The building was shabby and the room was disgusting. There was mildew in the tub and on the shower curtain. The paint was peeling off the walls and the room was overall dated and filthy. I truly feel that I was ripped off as I paid $159 +... more

We arrived in South Lake Tahoe without accommodation and walked along the main road where most of the hotels and motels were. Some were a bit too far away from Heavenly Village to walk at night and others seemed to be very close to the road. QI however had rooms set further back so we asked for one of those... more

We stayed at the Quality Inn (I didn't see any suites...but they could have been there). Our stay was pleasant. The hotel is old but the management keeps the place clean. Everything worked. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast consisted of danish, coffee, milk, juice toast and bagels, yogurt and fruit cocktail, all in all a... more

My husband and I stayed for three nights, from May 18-21. I was a bit apprehensive, mainly because of some negative reviews I'd read here. I shouldn't have worried. Our stay was just fine, and the pricing was good, too. We noticed new carpeting being installed in some of the rooms. Ranae, at the front desk, couldn't have been nicer,... more
