We stayed in the two bedroom Moongate unit. The unit and location were outstanding. Staff is very friendly and willing to help. Can't say enough about this property. Well worth it. more

An amazing honeymoonWe stayed in the two bedroom Moongate unit. The unit and location were outstanding. Staff is very friendly and willing to help. Can't say enough about this property. Well worth it. more
We found this lodging through a friend who had stayed there at Christmas. We stayed in the 2 bedroom condo-type room in the back of the property. The decor is a little different, (there's a heart-shaped bathtub/spa) but it was in good shape and I have to say it is one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed in.... more
Booked online at $120 for a Saturday night for a room with the Murphy bed (folds down.) I was pleasantly surprised to be put in a room with a separate bedroom and full or queen size bed. Microwave, fridge and cabinets fully stocked down to a blender! Tvs and dvd players in both rooms. Sofa bed in Living room with... more
Can't beat the price, location for skiing/gambling. Right across the street from Heavenly gondola. 10-15 minute walk to casinos. Rooms are just what you need for an economy stay. Bed (murphy) comfortable. Room was clean and fresh. Bath and shower were beautifully tiled...double head shower. The place was quiet at night and the staff really was friendly. more
Knowing that this place is an older facility, it has a geat location, across the street from the Heavenly Village, Heavenly Gondola and a short walk to the Casinos (Harrahs, Harvey's, etc..). With Coldstone and Cinnabun across the street, and Starbucks a block away, I was happy. When checking in, the staff was friendly and informative. They have a selection... more
I stayed at the Stardust Lodge in South Lake Tahoe from August 26 to September 2, 2007. Overall, I would return. The studio rooms are in fact small and DO NOT have air conditioning as both of these facts are indicated in most advertisements, reviews and the confirmation letter you will receive in the mail after booking. In my opinion,... more
This location is actually a great pick on an off night Sunday-Thursady. A little overpriced on the weekend. Limited parking and the beds were not the best. Decent breakfast and pool/spa on location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Something different to check out if staying at the Casinos arent your thing. more
We stayed here towards the end of July. Well we've stayed here several times before in the winter & it's a much nicer stay in the winter. They have no A/C & it gets really hot in the rooms. The fans just didn't cut it at night, it was awful. The pools & hot tubs are really nice. They do... more
My boyfriend and I spent springbreak (4/1 to 4/8) in S. Lake Tahoe at the Stardust, which was an adorable and convient place! It was an eventful, enjoyable vacation! For those who want to stay in, the hotel offers a great pool, hot tub, small exercise room, and planned activities everyday....such as crafts and a spaghetti dinner! We were upgraded... more
Just stayed at the Stardust for a week over New Years. I was expecting the usual dumpy motel and half dead staff. Boy was I surprised. This place has perhaps the best location in town, right accross the street from the Village and Gondola, and was only a short walk to the casinos. The rooms were nicely furnished and super... more
