I stayed at this hotel for one night, and I'm sure it will be the only time. The Knights inn is located just off Lake Tahoe Boulevard, and at $39/ night we found it a great deal. But once we got inside, it wasn't even worth 19. The Hotel is old, badly maintained, and the shower floor looked like it... more

The location is nice, just across the casinos. No other service available. Although the receptionist was kind. The room is crumpy but at a cheap price, nothing to complain for. more

First thing was the small overcrowded parking lot. We got room #26. When we opened the door the smell almost knocked us over. It was musty and like an animal had been there. In the bathroom was what appeared to be a single animal feces behind the toilet. We called the front desk about it and in about 10 minutes... more

Seriously - I thought really sketchy motels were a thing of the past but allow me to paint a simple picture: the room smelled of smoke masked by strawberry air freshener, the blankets had holes and stains, there was a sitting couch that was terribly stained with some sort of unidentifiable worm/booger/organic material, the shower curtain was mildewed, and the... more

Had reservations for Jan 2 and on way to tahoe an avalanche occurred on hwy 395 closing 395 from sr203 to sr167 - we were on 395 just before the avalanche and had to turn around after 8 hours driving to that point - we called Knights Inn to let them know of the avalanche and cancel reservation and the... more

This motel advertises that it is clean and comfortable. It is neither. The rooms are dirty as is the furniture. It is not air conditioned, so we had to leave the windows open; no window screens, so anybody can simply reach in and unlock the door. The staff was indifferent to the simplest request (had to beg for two disposable... more

I would highly recommend NOT staying here. The management are very unprofessional, rude, and somewhat scary, the rooms are dirty, and my experience to South Lake Tahoe was negated by staying at this motel. The saying "You get what you pay for" doesn't even do this place justice... I am a normal family man and I feel it is my... more

If all you are looking for is a place to sleep and take a shower and are on a tight budget, this hotel is okay. Location is great...it is within walking distance to restaurants, major casinos, and Heavenly gondolas. The rooms are old and shabby. The bed is hard and lumpy. The bathroom tiles are old and stained and the... more

For the Budget Shoppers and looking for a clean place to stay then this is a great spot. Yes, I like the nice 4 star hotels when on business and travel very extensively, but if the budget is out of my pocket then I am cheap but clean. For $25 bucks a nite for a double room, you can't beat... more

This hotel is in a perfect location, right across the street from Harvey's, but that is the only nice thing about it. The room was run down. It doesn't look like they have updated anything since the 60's, including the TV which you needed an engineering degree to work. The bed was small, uncomfortable and we rolled to the middle,... more
