My wife and I needed an affordable place to stay enroute through Vancouver. Area cancellation policies make it risky to reserve rooms, so we waited until clearing the airport to select a hotel. We have always have good value at other HI Expresses & this did not disappoint. Room was clean and location is very quiet. Hotel staff were EXCEPTIONALLY... more
Originally chose this hotel because of the Park and Fly package - one night stay gives you 7 days of parking, additional days at $5/day, free airport shuttle. The parking area is behind a locked chainlink fence and was secure (hotel staff open and close it). If you're flying out of YVR and have to overnight it's not a bad... more
Stayed here twice - night before and night after an out-of-country flight. Hotel staff very professional. Building and room were spotless. Breakfast was really quite well done. I would return here without doubt for overnight stays. Very convenient to use the "park and fly" option to leave the car if heading away. Highly recommended! more
Newer hotel. Room was clean, breakfast was nice. Not very many dining options in the immediate area, but there were a few places that offered delivery to the hotel. more
We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Richmond for one night during the August long weekend. We chose this location so we would be close to the ferry terminal as we were on our way to Vancouver Island. We arrived at the hotel in the afternoon. The hotel is situated across the street from a Costco (less than a minute... more
We stayed in this hotel for two nights after the Airport Holiday Inn was all booked. Our room was one of the family units with a queen bed and a set of bunk-beds for the children (mine are teens, but they fit just fine). The room is seperated by a barrier that is chest height, so it offers a small... more
We stayed here on two separate (non-continuous) nights during our 10 day vacation around the Vancouver-Victoria area. We selected Richmond as a transition point during our 10 day vacation (e.g., after returning from Victoria by ferry, we overnighted here, en route to Whistler the next day). So we got a decent quality hotel at CAN120/night without paying downtown Vancouver rates.... more
We stayed at this hotel, as we were looking for a family suite in the Richmond Area, and this hotel had their Kid Suites rooms, which turned out to be very small and tight spacewise. It is essentially the size a of 2 queen room, except that there is a 5 ft wall separating the kids' bunk beds from the... more
This hotel was a good choice for the Park and Fly feature and Deluxe breakfast included. more
