The stay was average. Don't book ski or golf packages with them. If you were to book golf or ski separately the tax is included in the price. The owner choses to tax the entire package, which winds up costing an extra $15.00 or more than what the package is worth. They won't change their policy. It's not a deal.... more

Stopped here on our way out to Mission BC. from Saskatoon for Christmas on Dec 22nd. Lots of ski doers go here. The rooms are big. We have 2 toy poodles so we always need to find a pet friendly location, this is the place. The rooms were clean and warm and the staff very helpful as our coffee maker... more

I would say that this is one of the nicest places to stay at. The rooms were clean and had everything I needed. The service was fantastic at both the hotel and the restuarant. I will recomend this place to family and friends. more

The room was very clean, very nice size and was quite affordable. The property itself isnt the greatest looking, its a bit older of a hotel. The staff was great and quick, the restaurant was fantastic, Curtis Thorne the restaurant manager, does a great job!! Next time I am through Golden, this is where I will stay again more

We only stayed one night as we were driving through. The kids loved this place, and asked to go back again. The hotel itself is really old, as was our room. It was clean enough though. The waterslide was great, and the reason that the kids loved it so much. The view was fantastic, and the food was really good... more

It's okay for a night, but the place could really use some sprucing up. It could use new paint, mattresses, carpet...I'd probably only stay here again if it were significantly cheaper than the other alternatives. more

The Golden Rim was an adequate location for a one night stopover. The beds were comfortable, the price reasonable, kids enjoyed the pool and waterslide and the breakfast we purchased at their restaurant was good (although added considerable cost to the nightly cost - all other hotels we stayed at on this holiday included b/f in price).
