Our family of 4 (2 small kids) and mother-in-law stayed chose to stay at this hotel owing to its proximity to the Museum of Civilization, which we were planning to visit. The hotel room was about average in size, not terribly attractive, reasonably clean, but not spanking. It felt a little worn. The beds were adequate. There was a pool... more

The location of this hotel is convenient to key attractions and has a beautiful view, but that is it for the possitve comments. The room was dirty, there was a white bucket with PUKE written on it in the middle of the washroom. The sink was leaking, the toilet was clogged, the big mirror broken and covered with black duct... more

On a positive note, you cannot dispute the location of this hotel. It is convenient to key attractions. That's where it ends for me. When we arrived the lot in front of the hotel was full - we were told to park in an adjacent lot. I was sure the car would be broken into to (it wasn't). It was... more

Clean. Small uncomfortble rooms. Seems to have been built in the early 1960's in a slapdash manner and no repairs since then. Both sides of the hotel has balconies but on only one side do rooms have doors that lead to these balconies. Stay away from this place if comfort is your objective. For a lower price the Suites Victoria... more

The hotel's location is the only thing it has going for it. It is within walking distance to the Museum of Civilization and Parlimant Hill. Other than that, this place is the worst. We only parked in the underground parking once, because when you drive out, it almost scrapes your muffler off. Everything is dirty, including the room and bed.... more

It was the worst room I ever saw. (i speak french so sorry for the description..) The flat iron was oxydate, the mattress support was dangerous due to exterior branch, the bathroom door was unclosable, there was no aeration trap in the bathroom, the water was not able to get out of the bath because of the amount of hair... more

I'll start with the good thing, you just have to cross the bridge to arrive in Downtown Ottawa.....but not enough parking space, garage door broken, no service for breakfeast, uncooked pancake and race trak for kid in the hall way......NEVER AGAIN !!! They just went from a 3 stars to a 4 stars....they should go to 2 stars hotel. more

The hotel is well situated - on the river a few yards from the Alexandra Bridge opposite the Art Gallery, with views of Parliament and easily walkable to the central sites. We stayed three nights as part of a two week touring holiday. Other reviews & the website refer to renovations - well they hadn't reached our room. The decor... more
