My wife and I have just spent 5 nights at the Trelawne. The hotel is clean and well managed. The food is excellent and the manager very anxious to oblige and to provide a friendly atmosphere. We found the hotel comfortable and a good base for short holiday. The essential question to ask is 'would we go again?' We certainly... more

We have recently spent a most enjoyable 5 night holiday here. The hotel is in a beautiful and peaceful location. Bedrooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean. The spacious lounge is pleasant and relaxing. Dining at Trelawne is a great experience. Good quality food, superbly cooked and attractively presented by the cheery chef. In addition, the full English breakfast was excellent... more

Trelawne Hotel is a small family run Hotel offering a haven of peace and tranquility in Cornwall. The views over to St.Mawes, Falmouth Bay and Rose Mullion are spectacular. The magnificent Cornish Gardens are within easy reach. The room was tastefully decorated and comfortable with bath, shower and hair dryer in the ensuite bathroom. Tea, coffee & hot chocolate was... more

The Trelawne is a very comfortable and peaceful country house hotel with wonderful sea views. The hotel's location is ideal for energetic scenic cliff top walks or as a touring centre for visiting the Cornish gardens, harbours and resorts. The bedrooms are clean and well decorated, other facilities for the guests include a well stocked bar, a comfortable lounge and... more

We had high hopes as we had passed the attractive building on previous Cornish holidays but there was the musty smell in the entrance hall. We had to struggle unaided to the top floor with our luggage. The sea view was stunning but unfortunately the shower was a dribble, however a very attractive plastic jug was supplied to aid hair... more

Unfortunately, these guests did not mention the problem with the shower until settling their bill upon departure. Had they done so during their stay it would have been corrected straight away. The shower hose was split at the base and subsequently the full water power was not being sprayed, a simple problem to rectify. The music that is played in...

My stepmother was in the porcess of booking a weeks holiday at this hotel. The woman she spoke to was frinendly and my step mum had mentioned my dad's eyesight and requested a seat in the dining room near to a window to help him to see as much as possible. They had called me to finalise a stay over... more

I have to say that I was saddened to read this review and having been the gentleman in question, also somewhat shocked. I have been the personal owner/manager of Trelawne for 34 years and have always tried to accommodate the needs of all of my guests. The advice that I had offered this family was an honest opinion so as...

Unfortunately we only had two nights at the Trelawne. The room was clean and very comfortable with the most amazing views of the sea stretching out towards Falmouth and St Mawes. It is a quiet hotel and very nice if you want to relax in comfort. The food was delicious and we were pleased to see the use of a... more
