The Queens Hotel is a classic British seaside hotel, it's a beautiful old building with a grand reception and lovely dining and reading rooms. The bedrooms are clean and functional but could perhaps do with a little bit of attention, but nothing to put you off. The staff are lovely here and always on hand to help, it's a family... more

Friendlinesss of service and keeness to help will be my lasting memory, from booking the stay over the phone, the restaurant assistant manager and the evening bar stewardess, people genuinely cared that i was... more

Stayed here for one night but would have stayed longer as the room and view were great despite a little mist. Room was clean and nicely decorated and a very good en-suite bathroom. BUT we found the staff not to be very friendly, the Bar closed at 10.40pm making us feel not welcome and the breakfast was below average. this... more

Second visit (booked by employer). Just faded & not up to standard of most hotels I visit. Good location but rooms need an update. Average age of clientel seemed 60 to 80 and perhaps this is what they expect, but not me and if I had been paying would have been enraged at lack of value for money. more

A number of the rooms at the hotel have spectacular sea views. The food was well presented and of a good standard. The service generally provided... more

This was a lovely quality hotel overlooking the sea front and in a very central position, not only in Penzance but to the surrounding areas . The service and food were excellent and the large rooms were at reasonable prices (plenty of room to spread out). We extended our stay there twice. more
