Just returned from a stay at the Hilton. Location is good, on the sea front opposite the burnt out pier and a short walk to the main pier/shops/lanes etc. Had a problem with my room when I arrived, it wasn't ready. Not a problem as they gave me and my husband a complimentary drink in the bar. Once the room... more

We had booked a hotel room months in advance for the busy August weekend. On arrival we had an excellent welcome from the reception staff and the extra entertainment that was ran by the hotel. Once we got up to room 635, it was small, stuffy and the bathroom looked dirty. Room service wait was 45 minutes to order a... more

After having recieved the dreadful unprofesional experience the day before in Bournemouth ( please read review for The Montague,Bournemouth) - what a delight to arrive at the Metropole. The staff were excellent, they were so friendly to my son (8) and made him feel very special. My room was spacious, clean and well equiped. Only down side was only having... more

We stayed here in Aug 08 and booked a double sea view room. It was just OK - nothing special and as others have said not a great place for a special occassion. The room was spacious but the carpet was grubby, the bed squeaky and the bathroom dated (no shaving mirror either !!). Despite the double glazing it was... more

My husband and I went to the Hilton Metropole in Brighton for our wedding anniversary weekend. The location of the hotel is excellent, right on the seafront and within a couple minutes walk to the Brighton Pier. The car park was convenient although cost 14 GBP a day to use. The hotel was pet friendly, which was a bonus for... more

we stayed in a "Deluxe plus room" witch was good but nothing special, best feature was the balcony overlooking the seafront, the bed was massive and reasonable comfy, the hotel is undergoing refurbishment at the moment witch in parts it looks like it clearly needs! our room looked like it had already been updated but not to a very high... more

I stayed at the Brighton Hilton this weekend just gone as part of a conference. I have to admit to being rather excited about staying in a Hilton but sadly I was left very disappointed and would not return. Reception - This is a nice area, very clean and pleasant but they never had enough staff on to assist leading... more

My husband and our 16 year old son stayed here for one night in June. The hotel is in a great location (on the seafront) - 10 minute walk from the Pier. We had a family room which was big enough for the 3 of us. The rooms are more modern than the outside of the hotel. We dined in... more

We stayed at the Brighton Hilton Metropole for a weekend in June 08. It is conveniently placed, towards the Hove end of the sea-front, within 15 mins walk of the station and 5 minutes from the main shopping area in Western Road. The front of the hotel overlooks the burnt-out remains of the historical West Pier. We had a family... more
