Stayed for the weekend 1st - 3rd August '08, Whole place needs smartening up, especially outside which is very untidy and does not encourage anyone to sit outside. Inside needs a good sort out and clean up. Our room very small, windows and panes dirty. Bathroom clean and adequate, although the bath very slow to empty, pipe needs unblocking presumably.... more

We booked the Royal Oak and we're disgusted by the room. It smelt and had a contraceptive pill on the bed. The owner and son were rude and did noit accept our complaint, and bascially accused myself and 7 month pregnant wife of putting the pill their ourselves. Do not stay here. more
