Unfortunately the Premier Inn at Dover East was not all that it cracks up to be. My stay on the 19th of July started off badly when I was overcharged for my room (it appears that I was charged the “turn up rate” when in actual fact I had booked months previously). Things got worse when my room was hopelessly... more

We wanted a comfortable night's sleep, without paying a lot of money, before catching an early morning ferry. We got exactly that, and are pleased to say we found many more reasons to compliment this hotel and recommend it to travellers. The receptionist was efficient and friendly; our bedroom overlooked greenery at the back of the hotel. Our room was... more

The hotel was undergoing major refurbishment when we were there, so there was no food available, not even breakfast. This was explained to us at reception on arrival. Because of the temporary upheaval on the premises, it was harder to judge the public areas. The bedroom was clean, comfortable and perfectly adequate for one night. However, the room looked out... more

This hotel is very very basic. It is ok for the price but really I would have to think hard about staying there again. Firstly the check in desk simply refused to let us check in any earlier than 2pm when we arrived at 12:30. I really despair at this attitude, particularly when the car park is empty so I... more

I stayed at the Premier Travel Inn Dover East for just one night on business, and the hotel was exactly what I expected, with a clean, fresh room with the usual amenities. The Brewers Fayre next door did an adequate breakfast and the overnight stay was refreshing. The two negative aspects of my stay was the shower was like a... more

We booked our one night stay on the premier travel inn website we had stayed here before overnight and thought we would stay again as it has a good location for going into Deal and Walmer to visit the Castles for the Easter Egg Hunts etc with our two children, On arrival the receptionist was pleasant however our room smelt... more

Stayed here overnight 2 days ago prior to catching the morning ferry from Dover to Calais. Staff friendly, (particularly the guy on reception who had just endured 5 minutes of complaining from a disgruntled customer) room basic but clean and food in attached Brewers Fayre standard pub type food but ok. For somewhere to simply get a good nights sleep... more

enjoyed our stay ay the premier travel inn. the only down side was traffic noise from trafic coming from the port but double glazing cut a lot of it out. staff seemed quite helpful. Room was nice and clean ane quite a good size. The Brewers Fair was very handy for our evening meal as it was joined on to... more

Stayed here for a night as a stop over before catching an early ferry the next morning. The hotel is roughly 1 mile up the hill from the ferry terminal (2 min drive). It is on a roundabout and the junction of 3 major roads but set back from the road. A taxi into Dover is about £6 for a... more
