The Gables is in a handy location on a leafy side street off Compston Road. Many pubs and restaurants - and the bus station - are a few yards away. We stayed here for the bank holiday weekend and they were booked out completely, but you wouldn't have known every room was full and they were busy as the owners made sure you were oK and made you feel very welcome.
