We stayed at the Edwardene for a couple of nights at the begining of October. In a town full of B&B's and hotels it was a great find. It looks very chinzy on their website but they are chucking it out as they carry out a gradual modernisation. It's not that the place is run down, just a bit dated... more

We recently spent three nights at the Edwardene. Keswick was a outstanding location for hiking in the Lake District with easy access to walks and trails. After a very stressful month this hotel provided everything we wanted, i.e. friendly owners, quaint room with comfy bed, views over the hills, peacful location yet not too far from town with a great breakfast thrown in. We would not hesitiate to go back to this hotel. more
