parking to the rear was free until recently - now £5 per day. good location from station (4 minute walk). check in is straight forward. rooms are good - decent choice of tv channels. fully stocked with shampoo and tea/coffee. basement restaurant is expensive, as are drinks (over £3.50 for a pint of diet pepsi). breakfast is ok - nothing... more

The Ramada is well placed if you want to be right in the centre of town - we were there for a festival at the De Montford Hall and the usual hotel we stay in was fully booked a year in advance - which says a lot about the other Leicester hotels! Had we been left in the first room... more

Booking the hotel was relatively easy, check in was a little slow, due to computer difficulties, but the staff handled the situation very well and I felt that I was being treated as an individual not just another guest. more
