As with most reviews I found the entire experience disappointing. The room was a twin when I booked a double. The room was shabby with leftovers from previous guests still in drawers etc. The shower didn't work. The heating didn't come on until the morning so the room was freezing at night. Staff very unhelpful, and the dining experience was... more

I have never come across such rude and unhelpful staff. The hotel was very over priced and completely lacking in any comfort and service. The rooms were messy and shabby, our front door which was right next to our bedroom door was missing, so throughout the night cold gusts of wind were coming into out room. The check-in was ridiculously... more

On arrival the hotel staff did not even say "hello" or make us feel welcome in any way. We were not shown to our room, just told directions and the room we were given was a room that was still in use! So back to reception we went, to not even be given an apology but just a sour face.... more

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Shambolic staff dirty rooms, honestly please do not put yourself through this experience. It was incredibly expensive and upon asking for a drink at the bar it was if I had been an axe murderer. To say that the staff are work shy and rude is an understatement. more

At a cost of £169 a night, I had big hopes of a night of pampering and pleasure in a suite with double jacuzzi. There were dead insects in the jacuzzi and dust inside the wardrobe. The fittings were poor quality. The ill fitting window had a poor seal, which made a buzzing sound when the wind blew (yes, all... more

On arrival the miserable lady on the desk, without a smile or hello, barked at us telling us we were early - You can eat but I reckon if we scrapped the dead road kill off the drive it would be more tasty! DONT book from photos on website - bed sheets were dirty, blanket stained all over by some... more

This hotel is a joke, had it booked for my wedding venue but decided to change to another Hotel as the treatment I was getting at this hotel was diabolical. The phones were never answered and my emails ignored (I know this as I got read tags). I heard through a forum about how this hotel had double booked a... more

We recently stayed at the Oxfordshire Inn hotel in Oxford, but we would never recommend this to our friends or stay there again ourselves. Booking in was shoddy, we weren't shown to our room instead just given directions. We found our room eventually. The restaurant was overpriced, the menu was sparse, items on menu not available. Breakfast saturday morning was... more
