Nice hotel close to center of town. We ( 2 adults and an infant) stayed here for 1 night. The room was small according to USA standards, but decent for England. It had a nice balcony overlooking a pond. Breakfast was excellent - huge selection of cold and hot items. more

I stayed in this hotel for two nights - somewhat against my better judgement, but virtually unable to find another hotel in the area for the dates I required. The room I was allocated was tiny, overlooking the carpark, on the groundfloor, which meant it was not possible to open the window - could be a problem in warmer weather.... more

I was really worried that this place was going to be terrible after reading the reviews on this site, so was mentally prepared for the worst. We had stayed in a terrible hotel in Bath two years ago which was filthy, staffed by students, had clearly not been decorated since the 1970s. It was the cheapest hotel we could find... more

Becky and the team at the front desk are amazing - they go beyond the call of duty to ensure that you are looked after! Rooms are comfy and clean and the bar has good wine and potatoe wedges. Thanks for looking after us Becky and team - we will be back!! more

Having booked the only hotel in Bath with rooms available over Easter I was apprehensive after reading the reviews here. Our room was clean, smart, airy and light. While the decor was like many hotels around the world it was comfortable and convenient. The staff were efficient and friendly. I suspect that anyone who eats at a chain hotel restaurant... more

I think to start with i should say that many of the reviews on this sight are unfair. The corridors are a bit creaky but apart from that the whole time i spent in Menzies hotel was very pleasant. Myself and my girlfriend were made to feel very welcome by the staff who were both polite and very helpful. The... more

We stayed one night in this hotel at the beginning of february. To find nice things to write, i would say it's in Bath, a beautiful and romatic city. Located at walking distance from train station and 10-15 min walk from town centre, the receptionist was extremely nice and helpful. The room wasnt cold and the TV was working. Now... more

Tired and in poor repair, this building does not live up to its star rating or description on the company website ("exclusive waterside location" is on the edge of a dirty canal). The carpets in the corridors are frayed, the staff (mostly foreign students) are charmless, and the rooms are very low quality. I even considered contacting the people who... more

We only stayed here because it had the only empty rooms in Bath on this particular weekend. We soon found out why. My main gripe with this place was the cost. We paid £140 for a double room, with no breakfast. When we came to check in, we were told that we couldn't use the room as "there is a... more

We booked an executive room for our stay at a cost of £350 for 2 nights. We advised the hotel that we would be late arriving and when we got there at 9.40pm were told that there were no executive rooms left. We were therefore put into an annexe block and the room was terrible. The heating was not on... more
