From start to finish, this B&B is just lovely. Great hosts, comfy beds and breakfast was fabulous - worth going back just for that alone. I would (and I have) highly recommend this place to anyone! more

The Cranleigh was a lovely place to stay. The room was very comfortable and very clean. The staff were great - very polite and helpful. The extra touches in the room were well thought out with lovely cookies to go with the tea/coffee and the fresh milk in the fridge. Breakfast was amazing - plenty of choice and good portion... more

Lovely Hotel - Shame about the location I read several reviews of hotels and bed and breakfasts in the area before chosing this hotel. It is classed as an RAC 4 star bed and breakfast. My husband and I stayed for 3 nights. We made contact firstly via email and then booked by phone. There are about 12 rooms and all... more

I have never been to any hotel of b&b where there are so many little extras, By this I don't mean your usual posh toiletries or little choccy on the bed… I mean really original , quirky little things –like the do not disturb sign, the emergency kit even the little pump bags for the hair dryers are really cute.... more

I must say I cannot understand why there has been a complaint about the family room. We are a family of 4 (incl 2 strapping teenagers!) and we had a lovely family room at Cranleigh - we were very comfortable. The size of the room was big - the biggest b&b room we had ever had. Not only could it... more

Cranleigh is a positively charming small hotel in an excellent location which is close (within walking distance) to the city but removed from the traffic and noise . We had a beautiful ground floor room with a king bed and small sitting area with a great view of the city below. Spotlessly clean and the best breakfasts of our trip.... more

We thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay in the spacious, clean, tastefully decorated room! With a beautiful view over Bath and very quiet but close to the city, we slept well and enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the delightful Breakfast room downstairs. Our hosts take obvious pride in providing extremely comfortable accomodation...we unfortunately could only stay one night, but would love... more

After reading all about Cranleigh, I was very much looking forward to my stay but I was greatly disappointed when I arrived. On entering my room, which was sold on a triple basis, I found that the third "bed" we had to pay extra for was, in actual fact, a camp bed and not a single bed as advised. The... more

Booked two rooms at The Cranleigh at the end of December and was more than delighted with the outcome. Lovely old house in quiet neighbourhood, full of character and beautiful furnishing/decor. Plenty of space and facilities - didn't use the mini-bar but was very impressed with how reasonable the price list was. Excellent breakfast with a wide choice and good,... more
