This was a fantastic overnight stay for us as a family of 5. our daughter 14 had her own room with the two boys next door. Our room Farleigh was superb with a four poster, bedding lovely. The welcome we recieved was superb as was our breakfast the next day. We were given advice on where to eat as they... more

It would be very hard to find anything negative to say about Bath Lodge, and so minor as to not warrant a mention at all. Our room [Farleigh] was lovely - huge bathroom with shower in the turret, and a very large balcony overlooking the gardens. It certainly deserves its 5 diamond rating and I will definitely stay there again when... more

We loved this hotel from the minute we pulled in the drive. Great ambience, wonderful room, convenient location for Bath, Glastonbury, and Cheddar day trips. Breakfast cooked to order and served in a spacious, windowed sunroom. Outside, a patio for relaxation and lovely grounds. This was the splurge of our 2 1/2 week trip and well worth it. more

We stayed here for two nights in May for our wedding anniversary - my husband booked the room as a surprise and the hotel sent a scroll with the booking details on which I thought was a lovely touch. I was a little disappointed when we arrived as the "castle" is right on the main road, in fact I wondered... more

We came to this hotel as a suprise break for our wedding anniversary gift from our son. Our first impression was pure pleasure with the warm welcome from the owners. We were taken up to our room which was spotless and beautifully furnished. Food and service were always first class and the staff so helpful and friendly. We will certainly... more

We stayed here for New Year and found the hotel really easy, it is situated on the main road, but you don't hear the noise once inside. We had booked the Edinburgh room and were not disappointed with a bathroom in one turret and a small breakfast table in the other. The breakfast was lovely, and the owners were friendly. We... more

Fantastic place, had the Windsor room, was magical and romantic with the large balcony. made our wedding anniversary more special as the warm evenings allowed us to utilise the roof top balcony. will be going back as the staff made you feel special but were never intrusive. breakfast was nice also. thanks. more

We stayed at this hotel for one night in the Windsor Room - it was a really nice room with a great battlement balcony. The bathroom was in the turret which is a great feature. The staff were really polite and helpful. They had a bar where you could help yourself and leave a note on their book stating what... more

My partner and I stayed for the third time at this beautiful castle hotel last weekend 7th and 8th September, 2007 and, as usual had a wonderful time!! The staff, Timo and George and the owner Barry were all brilliant as they have been on our previous visits. Everything about this small, friendly and intimate hotel is great and just... more

Just returned from a "romantic" weekend at this hotel. Stayed in the Blaise Suite. First impressions were good, staff showed us around and were very friendly and helpful. However, once in the suite we found that the bathrom door has a faulty lock, which at times you need a coat hanger to get it open. The shower is spacious enough... more
