The Moores, Vancouver: The B&B we wanted to stay at was full, but fortunately its owner referred us to An Old Rectory. We were a little concerned, not knowing any more about the place other than the referral. We were very pleased with An Old Rectory. It's a charming old building, situated in a beautiful part of Belfast near Queens... more

I have just returned from a very nice stay here. The room was nicely decorated, lovely bed, everything was nice and clean. Nice fluffy towels, DVD player in room (didn't use). Good food/ excellent breakfast choice and good location - there was a bus stop just down the road to get into the city. I hired a car to drive... more

Unfortunately the photo of the outside of this B&B is better than what you will find inside. Our room was a bit tired looking. The mattress on the bed was old and just not comfortable. All the furniture is more shabby than shabby chic. Water pressure in the shower is ok. The host, Jerry, is efficient but not a real... more

I booked this over the internet as it was so close to the Embassy and I had a first thing appointment there. As B&B's go it is very good indeed, worth staying for the breakfast alone! As a vegetarian, I was amazed that someone had gone to so much trouble to provide all the trimmings when quite often a breakfast... more

My daughter and I arrived at the B&B at the end of a nightmare travel day. We had driven our rental car from the Dublin Airport in driving rain and howling wind and had TWO blowouts, one at noon and one at 5PM. Belfast had horrific traffic with constructions and accidents so when we got to the Old Rectory we... more

We had a wonderful stay - 4 nights - at the Old Rectory in Belfast. Scrupulously clean with a breakfast menu second to none with friendly and helpful owners, nothing was too much trouble for them. Will definetely be back in the future to enjoy their hospitality and see more of the sights of Northern Ireland!!! Sheila & Michael Beatty more

I stayed at An Old Rectory in October 2006 and plan to stay there again on my next visit to Belfast in summer 2007. The food was outstanding and the rooms were beautifully furnished, clean, and quiet. Hostess Mary Callen (Rosato) was friendly and helpful with travel/street directions and answers to her lodgers' questions. I was in the city for... more

We stayed at the Old Rectory In October 2006. Out of 51/2 weeks travel in Great Britain and Ireland, The Old Rectory was one of our favorites. Mary Rosato was a charming and helpful hostess as was all of her staff. Our room was clean and extremely comfortable with extra touches that made our stay enjoyable. And the breakfast was... more

We had just been in Scotland and enjoyed the lovely little B&B's there, then we came into Ireland, by Belfast, NI. The webpage looked great and so did the surroundings etc for the Old Rectory. Although first impressions can be flawed. The room was ok, a little run down, but sizable enough. Bed saggy, bathroom a little strange... but the... more
