This place has a lovely view out over the esplanade, a nice walk into the town itself. Owner is very friendly, the only problem I had (and some might not find this a problem) was getting the attention of the owners. I have stayed at the Alltavona several times, and having sampled several other hotels and guest houses in the area, I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Oban.
