I stayed for two nights with work and found the hotel to be really comfortable. Lovely room with very large bed and all the pillows you could ever desire! Big TV, and all the usual tea making, shirt ironing facilities. Good view over the river towards BBC Scotland and the science museum. The bathroom was also lovely. The only downside... more

Stayed here for 2 nights for a conference. Good location for that purpose but a fair walk into town otherwise although taxis seem readily available. There is also a convenient bus service that runs from outside the hotel to the airport which cuts down on expense. Slightly frosty reception staff but overall staff very helpful there. Requested some toothpaste and... more

Stayed here overnight on the way to the Loch Lomond Scottish Open, wish we could have stayed longer! The location is not to far from the city and is directly on the waterfront . The check in was excellent , any questions I had ready to ask had already been answered by the check in girl (Jennifer). We had booked... more

Chose the Crowne Plaza as it is linked by covered walkway to the SECC and we were going to see a concert. Easy enough to find - even with the roadworks. Parking costs £5 per night for which you pay at reception. Not secure but seemed safe enough. Scottish girl on check in was very friendly. Room had two king... more

I booked this hotel especially as I was going to see a show in the SECC which is connected via a walkway with this hotel. As such it was perfect location for my purpose but if you are looking for a city centre hotel then this isn't it. Now to the hotel itself. Check in and check out were smooth.... more

We have just arrived home after a short break in Glasgow, it was our first wee family holiday with our 10 month baby boy and all in all it was very enjoyable. I found the hotel staff very pleasant (maybe they enjoyed seeing a smiling happy baby instead of a grumpy tried man in the next comment), breakfast very good... more

The hotel is in a good location for the SECC venue. The rooms were of a high standard except the plug sockets were on the floor which meant that you had to plug in kettle and leave it on the floor and dry your hair with your head under the desk and not in view of the mirror. What really... more

Thanks for posting a review. I am sorry that you didn't notice the sockets in the "periscope" on each desk top. Due to your comment we have now taken steps to highlight the location of all sockets so as to ensure ease of use. I am concerned about your comments about the rudeness of all our catering team and that...

I booked a double bed club room for 3 nites to attend a meeting at the adjacent convention centre. Whilst not a terrible stay, many disappointing aspects to this stay....mainly related to poor training IMHO. 1. Arrived after a 32 hour trip from Sydney at 1230pm. Told that no chance of an early check in; try after 2pm. OK...I was... more

Thanks for your constructive review and apologies for the disappointment you experienced. Its true that many of the issues you encountered could easily have been avoided by adhering to the agreed standards and remembering that "the little things do matter"! I have discussed your review as the basis of a review of some of the standards we offer and am...

Stayed at this hotel last night. It's a bit out out on a limb, but I guess it has a good buzz if an event is on at the nearby arena. Stayed in room 816 and the air condition rattled which was somewhat annoying. Breakfast was a bit bizarre - if you turn up and jut go and eat, the... more

Glad you enjoyed your stay and that the hotel met your needs. I was sorry to hear about the air conditioning though and have asked maintenance to check it out. I am pleased to confirm that our pre paid b'fast promo is working well as most guests now avail themselves of this offer. I note the hotel wasn't as central...
