Wonderful modern hotel. Rooms outstanding. Near highway, but windows seem very well soundproofed. There were actuially 2 windows about 3 inches apart. Spent 2 nights in June. Asked for a high floor and got a room on the 9th floor (out of 12 floors) in the back facing traffic. Windows were soundproofed so did not hear traffic or the wind blowing. Stayed here for one night before a morning flight to dublin. Walked from railway station. Lovely hotel, no problems with check in, room clean, huge & comfy bed. So decided to have a one night stay at the Glasgow Marriott on a Saturday night. Arrived at the hotel at 1pm and although check-in is officially 2pm we were given access to our room early which was a usual standard of Marriott room. Lovely central hotel which has its own carpark onsite and lesuire facilities. Rooms are large and clean and check in staff friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was fantastic and had great choice. Would recommened this hotel to anyone. more
