I can't believe this hotel has the Hilton name on it. They should be ashamed of themselves. First, the room is incredibly stuffy. There is no air circulation what so ever. You can open one of the large windows, but that doesn't improve things at all -- it only makes it so you can hear all of the traffic out... more

My sister had her wedding reception at this hotel so we thought that it would be easiest to stay for the night with our two children. The hotel and staff were pretty poor but the real shock came at 1.00am when the wedding reception ended, we took our two girls to the room to settle them down (6yrs and 15yrs)... more

We booked 2 rooms on one card and they wanted to put us on different floors! The rooms were hot and uncomfortable. One room was dusty. The windows would not stay open. The bathroom fan was not working. The room was shabby. No loo brush. Only 1 saucer for 2 cups. The next day they gave us a tea plate... more

We booked a fairly typical King Room for our 1 night stay as we knew we'd spend little time there. We arrived around noon and asked if we could check in so we could change as we were heading out somewhere special. The Front desk staff were so helpful and told us they'd updgraded us to a suite (only 1... more

I expected much more from this Hotel as it lives under the HILTON Brand. It is just not up to the mark. Apart from the location there is not much going for this hotel. The room was tired, the parking is less than acceptible. They say there are 70 car parking places.. no they don't! The heating in our room... more

Good and bad points Good - lovely building with good location next to botanical gardens & many restaurants. Breakfast was excellent more types of fresh fruit than most. Reception and hotel stafff seemed very pleasant. Good size modern TV (but damned if I could get Teletext) Bad - Room needs significant updating - the chair in my room would have... more

Arrived at the Hotel for a one night stay and met by a very pleasant receptionist. The room had a lovely view over to the Botanical Gardens. The room however was rather tired and the traffic noise was endless. Single glazing room. Recommend a room to the rear. We did not book a specific time for dinner but when we... more

This hotel is in a fab location for the west end of Glasgow, with loads of pubs and nightlife on the doorstep. Not to mention a local supermarket for emergencies. We booked a twin room and have no complaints about the room whatsoever. It was immaculate, well decorated and comfortable. We liked the tea making facilities and the toiletries in... more

OK so it's not going to win any awards and is certainly not up to the same standards as the better Hiltons. All the same though, I found it clean and comfortable and the staff were helpful and professional. Food was average and costs pretty much in line with what I would have expected. Can't say I'd hurry back but... more

I stayed here with my husband as part of my birthday celebration. Having stayed in the Hilton in the city centre we had quite high expectations and were very disappointed. The room was shabby, with curtains falling down and filthy windows. The TV was ancient and had only a few channels. To view a film it cost about £12 and... more
