Amadeus Guest House is ideally located in the West End of Glasgow, virtually opposite the Kelvinbridge underground. With easy access to the town centre and to the West End, we offer great bed and "real" continental breakfast accommodation. Rooms are cleaned daily, and rates are more than reasonable for accommodation in this area. As we only have nine bedrooms we are often booked up, so do book early to avoid disappointment! more » « less

Perfect for our 3 night stay in Glasgow! Room was great for two adults and two kids - clean, stylish, lovely view! Location was great - pleasant walking distance to University of Glasgow & Kelvingrove Museum along the River Kelvin. Right off Great Western with cafes & shops. Definitely check out Landsdown right around the corner! Staff was helpful &... more

The place is a bit dated. We stayed in Room #3 - one double and one single bed. Both are very low and didn't offer much support. I think the property is owned and run by folks from Eurpoe, so the breakfast is great and healthy - not fried bread, fried black pudding, fried eggs, fried bacon, fried haggis, fried... more

This was a real quirky little guest house. We stayed here for two nights and were given room one downstairs next to the kitchen, which was a little noisy, but it didnt bother us. The room was bright, clean and quite large, with a bath and shower. The location is perfect. You can walk into Glasgow, but the subway stops... more

It's an OK place to stay for the price. The room was clean and had a bathroom en-suite which was useful for us as we were travelling with a baby. Our room was downstairs so it was easy to get in and out and they set up a cot for us. In summer it doesn't get dark until 11pm so... more

Nice location that is not too far from the city centre but quiet. The rooms aren't as nice as they look on the website, but decent. more

My fiancee and I stayed at the Amadeus Guest House for 6 nights and had a pleasant time. We stayed in a double ensuite. The room was very clean and furniture new. Shower and toilet were clean. The continental buffett breakfast is good. They had deli meats, cheese, cereal, oatmeal, toast, croissants and scones. The bed & breakfast is right... more

I had a struggle to find anywhere in Glasgow’s West End that met my organisation’s budget (I work for a charity) and the Amadeus Guest House was the only place. I was slightly concerned as the price was so cheap. You do get what you pay for here. The rooms are basic with some nice soft furnishings, but a closer... more

We have just returned from a 3 night stay. Great value for money, friendly and very helpful. There was a really nice selection for breakfast ,not a cooked breakfast, but lovely fresh rolls with ham and cheeses, yogurt and fruit, croissants and pain aux chocolat. The Amadeus is in the trendy West End of Glasgow, close to the University and... more

Stayed two nights in a single room (double bed) with ensuite shower/toilet. Room was fine, if a little poky. Bed was soft, sheets were clean. Breakfast was continental buffet which was well-stocked with a good selection of cereals, cold cuts, fruit, yoghurt, juice. Host was friendly and helpful. The B&B is a few dozen metres from a busy main road... more

Excellent. I had a 2 night stay there and everything was perfect. Very friendly staff and the Breakfast included was terrific. The room given was big and the bath very clean. THere was a hairdryer, tea-cocker etc, Tube is close and there is just a 5 minute ride to the city centre. Would go there again more
