On first impressions the Hotel is lovely. It is set on the leafy banks of the River Ness in Inverness. Hotel directions were very clear and we found it easily. Our room was on the top floor. I did not see a lift, so I don't think I would recommend the hotel to anyone who has walking difficulties or has... more

Had a three night stay at Glenmhor. Stayed in same room as last year but was completely refurbished. Felt like I was staying in five star room in a three star hotel. The bed was fit for a king. Ate in Nicos restaurant two times as steaks were fantastic. Breakfast by the river was pretty good too more

My husband and I fell in love with this hotel which is located on the River Ness. From our lovely room we could see the river and the sights nearby. The room itself was well furnished with the bed being one of THE most comfortable beds I have ever slept in at a hotel. We had a seperate tub and... more

My wife and I stayed three nights at the Glen Mohr in early June. We were thoroughly pleased with every aspect. We had a room at the top of the stairs on the second floor (top floor) in the main building with a river view. The room was very large and was apparently recently remodeled. The bathroom was very nice... more

We just returned from a short trip to Scotland. During our stay, we took a Rabbies tour of the highlands. They booked our room at the Glen Mohr and as luck would have it, we were placed in one of the rooms that had recently been refurbished. The room was brightly decorated and the bed was large and comfortable. The... more

We stayed in the Prince of Wales room for 6 nights. It was clean, spacious and well serviced each day. The view across the river was fantastic and the hotel's location is excellent. The ensuite was huge. We had an excellent breakfast each morning in Nico's and had a couple of enjoyable dinners as well. After our first night, we... more

We were there with a group of 20. Most of us had had massive complaints about their rooms (too small, too shabby, things not working). The staff is partly friendly, partly arrogant. Meal service seems to be overloaded with stress. The claim they had a change in ownership. Maybe the rooms willbe renovated and the complete staff trained by 2008. more

We arrived and were immediately disappointed by the shabby interior. The hotel consists of a number of buildings which means you may have to go outside into the car park or street to get to your room. We were put in a room beside the car park. The paint was peeling off the wall and there were damp patches. We... more

We stayed here for 3 nights with our 2 children in April 07 and booked 2 rooms. The rooms weren't connecting but were tucked away into their own little corridor giving us plenty space and privacy. However, the doors and the locks were so rickety that our kids safety in their own room was a big concern. The rooms themselves... more

I had booked a romantic weekend with my husband and thought that this hotel looked perfect but it was so bad that we checked out after an hour. The bedroom was old, shabby and dirty. The window had frosted glass on the bottom half, the 1970's wallpaper was hanging off the walls and the 'avacado green' bathroom was so small... more
