We recently stayed two nights at Aberdeen Lodge and thoroughly enjoyed it. Everyone at Aberdeen is exceedingly helpful and friendly, particularly Pat, Bernadette, and Ann. The detailed maps given to us of the area were of tremendous use, and the restaurant recommendations were perfect (particularly the Merrion Inn -- we miss it already and only wish we could have brought... more

I recently stayed at the Aberdeen Lodge for four nights and would recomend that hotel to anyone. From arrival which was early due to ferry problems to departure the staff were most efficient and could not be more helpful.I was served complimentary coffee on arrival and this was only the start to a really enjoyable break. The bedroom was large, spotlessly clean... more

A friend and I wanted to be a bit outside the busy city center, and we could not have made a better choice than Aberdeen Lodge. Within easy walking distance of the DART, and several restaurants. This small hotel in the Ballsbridge/SandyMount area is lovely. Our twin room with private bath was spacious, we were perfectly comfortable during the 6... more

My wife and I have just returned from a wonderful weekend in Dublin with great hospitality and feel we found a little gem of a place - The Aberdeen Lodge. It has loads of character, is in the Ballsbridge area which is very upmarket and there is a lovely village a short walk away with some excellant restaurants - the... more

We enjoyed the Aberdeen Lodge. Our room was a bit on the small side, but very clean and well kept. The breakfasts were generous and delicious. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. The Lodge has a beautiful rear garden where we relaxed after touring Dublin on a very warm day. The price was reasonable, and the owner is willing... more

This is a reasonable hotel, although the bedrooms are perhaps disappointing and over-priced. The room we were in looked faded, with scraped furniture. The public rooms, however, are great. Service from the employed staff is terrific, and they are all extremely helpful. Sadly, the owner is unhelpful, uncooperative and challenging. I will not stay there again - good service has... more

When we arrived, we were ushered into the drawing room and offered hot tea and scones as we filled out the necessary forms. Our room was ready almost immediately--and it was lovely. Our only disappointment was that the fireplace, which had been a major reason we had selected that particular suite, was not operative; however, when we were told that... more

I just wanted to tell how much I enjoyed my visit. the Aberdeen Lodge is such a pleasant, quiet and pretty place to stay. Imagine, sea gulls in the back yard. the employees are wonderful (as is their manager). It was difficult coming home to these strange accents and the lack of glorious green in winter. I am certainly coming... more

We were blown away with how great the accomodations were at this hotel, and the service was superb. For a smaller hotel the rooms were absolutely amazing! It's close to all kinds of things to do as well. more
