Trinity Lodge is a hotel very close to trinity college that has been converted from a couple of Georgean town houses. The location is great for access to central Dublin. The double room we had was large and comfortable but a bit cluttered and many of the Georgan features had been spoiled by an unsymapthetic modernisation. The room was en-suit,... more

Arrived on a Friday night and was cheerfully greeted. The hotel is in an unremarkable road but very close to the centre and with a busy restaurant opposite. On-street pay and display parking is available and after 8pm, the meter allows you to purchase up to 3 hours parking starting from 8am the following day so you don't have to... more

Overall, this hotel is ok. Upon our arrival, we were told that our room was not ready (even though we arrived after check-in time). Though this isn't ideal, they did apologize and offered us complimentary drinks at the bar. I wasn't too impressed, however, the fact that they were apologetic was appreciated. Cleanliness of the room - not so appreciated.... more

The location is good, but the prices are high compared to the quality of the rooms (quite ordinary), and the place is very noisy at night due the disco nearby, making it very hard to get some sleep. Overall, the staff was not very friendly or helping. Quite disappointing after all the good comments below ! I certainly would not... more

I planned a golf weekend in Dublin with 3 friends but at the last moment my plane was cancelled due to a bomb alert. The management team was very inflexible about the cancellation policy. Despite our demands, the hotel charged us with the total price corresponding to four people for several nights. I have never seen such an uncommercial spirit. more

A very pleasant young woman, Jitka, checked us in and willingly helped us carry our cases upstairs to our room. The hotel is on two sides of the street. We were on the opposite side to the main desk, but on the same side as where breakfast is served. The room was very quiet, probably surprising because we were very... more

Trinity Lodge is south of the Liffey and is a small hotel close to Trinity College, the Irish Museum and Library, the National gallery and the delights of stylish Grafton Street. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are well appointed and have generous furnishings. My room was at the front of the top floor. It was a quiet... more

Stayed at Trinity Lodge for the weekend with friends. As I arrived a day later than my friends I was placed in the hotel opposite. (Trinity Lodge is two Georgian buildings facing each other on opposite sides of the road). The room I was in (no. 9) was pretty basic (photos enclosed); had a comfy bed, wardrobe, tea & coffee... more

We stayed here for several days, The location is perfect, just steps from Trinity College, and many of the tourist attrations. Our room was very large and clean, however it was somewhat lacking in charm, considering the cost of the room. The biggest drawbacak is the staris. We were on the 5th floor, and there is no elevator, and no... more

On March 16, my travel agent booked a single room for me and requested a ground floor or low floor because of lingering problems with my knee due to a previous knee surgery I paid 28E deposit on 3/16. Upon my arrival, there were workmen in the lobby painting and the fumes were very strong..probably since the lobby is very... more
