We stayed at the Schoolhouse Hotel for three days. When we unlocked the door to what we thought was our room, we discoverd someone else was already in the room. They quickly rectified the situation and gave us another room. The breakfast was excellent as well as the dinner we ate on the first night .The front desk people were... more

Not quite sure what everyone else seems to be going on about! It is a very average hotel, and certainly not a decent 4* standard. My room was very dusty, and the air-conditioning unit did not work. The food was average, although I only had one evening meal and breakfast in the hotel. What was most unsatisfactory about my stay... more

A lovely refurbished old schoolhouse. Not the 10minute walk into the centre of Dublin we were expecting however, more like 20mins-half an hour walk but a lovely hotel none the less. more

We had a three night break for our 10th wedding anniversary and were not disappointed with the Schoolhouse. On arrival reception were expecting us and the check in process was extremely slick. The hotel has only 31 rooms so retains an intimate feeling at all times, but particularly at breakfast. Our room was a good size, with a overly large... more

I stayed here when I returned to Dublin for my graduation and had a lovely time. The schoolhouse has a lot of character, is beautifully decorated, and in a great location. It's not in the middle of town but the great neighborhood makes up for that. Definitely worth staying here when you're in Dublin. more

The Schoolhouse hotel was everything we were looking for, and in taking advantage of the Sunday reduced rate we got value for money and a lovely easy start to the week over a great Monday morning breakfast. Gorgeous bathrooms, lovely spacious rooms with all you might need, a relaxed bar next door allowing us to unwind (food was great although... more

We recently stayed there for 2 nights. We arrived at 1 AM and were relieved to find that our adjoining rooms were still available. Room service was good, the people were friendly, and the rooms were clean. more

We stayed at the Schoolhouse on the first night of our honeymoon in Dublin before heading out to the countryside. The room was exceptional. For a European hotel, it was quite roomy with a king sized bed. The staff was great and breakfast was lovely. The only downside was the location. It's a 10 min. walk at a pretty brisk... more

I spent two nights over the June bank holiday weekend in this hotel and I really enjoyed my visit there. The staff are friendly and helpful. I would advise that you telephone before you arrive to confirm your booking details. We had booked a twin room and got a double. When we asked to be changed we were told that... more
