A dated hotel with no atmosphere. The double room was very small (about 11" by 9") and the walls were extremely thin - I could hear next door's conversation and their tv - just glad there were no honeymoon couples! Breakfast was not great - overdone, chewy bacon but decent room to eat in. Location - quite central, about 15mins walk... more

We arrived in Dublin and went directly to the hotel. It was easy to take the bus from the airport as it stops very close to the hotel. The hotel staff let us check in early which was great after flying all night. The room was facing the car park and we had noise from that and noise from loud... more

We have just returned from a weekend trip to Dublin, and stayed at the St George Hotel. The hotel was excellent and we cant wait to go again. The reception staff were very very helpful, the hotel was decorated to a high standard, it was very very clean, the breakfast was served beautifully and tasted excellent. Its location was perfect,... more

This is good place if you want a base a short walking distance to the central places, but don't want the noise of the Temple Bar area. I wouldn't recommend this hotel if you planned to relax in the hotel as well as look about. The hotel was clean and basic, but didn't offer much atmosphere to make us want... more

My boyfriend and I stayed here because it was the only place available! Lobby etc is fine but the rooms weren't very nice. When we woke up, it was freezing - no double glazing meant a cold and noisy room. Although the room was clean, the bathroom wasn't and some tiles on the bathroom wall had fallen off. However I... more

My two grown daughters and I spent two nights at the Hotel St. George in late November 2006. I must say, if your parents raised you with any sort of manners and if you managed to stay awake for any appreciable amount of time in high school history class, I do not know how anyone could not love the Hotel... more
