Stayed here 3 nights in June, I had a lovely room at the back of the hotel, had view of carpark but also the sea !, The rest of my family were not so lucky, as they had a view of the roof and the rooms were quite shabby. Breakfast was very good - lots of choices, although slow with... more

The bedroom was small, and quite old, I think the hotel may have old and new rooms, we were definitely in the old! No mini bar, dodgy remote control, bedroom and bathroom very worn looking. Room very stuffy, and bedroom window only opened a crack, as room was looking out onto roof/ventilation area. more

We stayed at this hotel for one night, a Monday, at the end of a marvellous holiday in Ireland. It was very disappointing and we definitely would not stay there again or recommend it to others. Our room, which was OK but not great, was at the end of a long winding corridor on the first floor. We were able... more

We stayed here for a wedding that was on in a restaurant up the road and the staff were nothing but helpful and friendly. Although the restaurant was a 5 minute walk from the hotel it was raining/hailstoning on the day of the wedding and they organised a taxi for us. Then when we returned we were asked how was... more

I booked a trip in Ireland through CIE and this was one of the 3 hotels they booked for us. Personally I would have never choosed this hotel simply because it is about 15 minutes from the city center (assuming the traffic isn´t too heavy) of Dublin. I always try to stay as close of the city center as possible...... more

The odd exterior decor was the first thing to strike me, as I arrived at this hotel. Check-in was fine. I arrived at 8am but as able to check in immediately to my room which was excellent. The place is in moderate repair but was little shabby. Room itself was average. On the plus side, aircon you could control, good... more

On first impression the hotels looks new modern and clean but when you get inside the hotel your opinion soon changes. The rooms are in need of a serious update, no internet in some rooms, basic channels on the TV and AC units on the walls, that turn on by themselves. The rooms were clean and kept well even though... more

Availed of a great overnight rate Sat 19th Jan...one nights B&B plus Dinner...for just €59 each! Couldnt fault it. Had looked at previous reviews to see..what the catch was, for such a great price in a four star hotel..and almost changed my mind! Glad I didnt though...recently this place definately got a bad rap. Receptionist very kindly moved me to... more

My wife and I stayed at this hotel over the weekend begining 11/01/08. On recommendation of another person's review of this hotel, on booking in, I asked for a quiet room for the weekend. All was well on Fri nite, but on Sat nite, two partys were in full blast, along with a crowd of male youngsters, who ran amok... more

Have stayed here a number of times because the location suits me. However, I would not recommend the hotel otherwise. Reception is haphazard and it seems that you have to go through everyone's hands before you get checked it. Check out was slow becuase only one staff member on. Colour scheme on corridor is shocking, rooms are too bad but... more
