Jacobs Inn was the noisiest hostel that we've ever been! Room was very dirty (cleaningmethods ancient and inefficient) and the bedlinen disgusting. Staff wasn't helpful and seemed to be there just for fun. We felt so disappointed 'cause otherwise Dublin was (and is) great! more

Can't understand some of the negative reviews on this site. Staff are friendly, rooms are clean & breakfast is a coffee & a muffin which when compared to the other hostels in town (usually coffee & 2 ordinary slices of toast) is better than average fare. Definitely the Best Value in Dublin more
