Stayed here with my mother, sister and cousin for 1 night. Very disappointed. When we checked in, staff didn't give us any information on the hotel, such as check out times, breakfast times etc. Got to our rooms and key card wouldn't work in one of them. Complained at reception and were told, sorry battery must be gone in the... more

Stayed at the Ballsbridge Court for one night in May. As other reviewers have noted, this hotel used to be one of the grande dames of Dublin. It used to host the post match dinners during the 5/6 Nations rugby and it always had a good atmosphere. I found it quite sad and nostalgic to see it as it is... more

This is not a hotel. On check -in I gave my name and then was told, your room is 715 the lift is over on your right - that was it! NO Welcome no information about facilities etc! The room was nice enough, spacious enough but there was no information in the room about the hotels facilities and no room... more

I booked this hotel on a very busy night & was lucky to get a room. I was attending a function in there that evening & did not really want to be moving around unnecessarily. I was not aware of the hotel's history or the fact it was under threat of closure until I read your website. The common areas... more

I booked the Ballsbridge Court in December for a stay in May. The week before the hotel contacted me to confirm my booking, all was looking well, that is until the night before I was due to arrive when I was again contacted by a manager in the hotel to tell me they had double booked my room and I... more

The D4hotel complex was formerly made up of the Berkeley Court; Jurys and Jurys Inn hotel. The site was sold for development a few years ago and while the developers wait for planning permission to demolish the hotel and construct a new apartment, office and commercial development, they have decided to keep the hotels open as a going concern as... more

This is a strange one, I stayed many times at the Berkeley Court which was a fine hotel. The site along with Jurys hotel and the towers was closed last August and all due to be demolished. There was nothing wrong, just development plans in an expensive part of Dublin. It is now part of D4 Hotels. Disaster. Few staff.... more

We just spent four days at the D4 hotel in Ballsbridge Dublin & the hotel was a great choice for us. The location is fantastic for public transport, the rooms are large & well appointed & the staff are fantastic & were very helpful. It's about 1Km to downtown & there are a bunch of Pubs & dining options about... more

Booked the Ballsbridge Court with a bit of nervousness on Valentines Night as knew it was being run on a room basis with services franchised. What a lovely surprise. Having visited this hotel in its life as the Berkely Court always liked the old fashioned heavily carpeted and curtained opulance of the hotel but didnt like the prices, up to... more

Myself and my partner booked this hotel for 1 night on New Years Eve. Upon arrival we checked in with very friendly receptionists, and in record time!! We booked a Junior Suite for the total cost of 80 euros for the two of us, a very decent price by Dublin standards!! Once we got to the room, it was bright... more
