i held my wedding reception in the Stanville in March 2007 and do not have a single complaint about the hotel. everything went perfectly on the day and Anne Marie and the team made our day extra special. the food was one of the best meals we had out. Many people travelled and stayed in the hotel and again all... more

We had no problem finding the Stanville Lodge, which was about 5 miles outside Wexford town in a rural setting close to the N25. Once we had booked, the hotel had sent us a map of their location along with detailed written directions. Check in was friendly and efficient and within minutes of our arrival we were in our first... more

We were attending a function at the Stanville Lodge and as we were travelling with a child we decided to treat ourselves and book into the hotel. We arrived on Saturday evening, checked in effortlessly but as we had booked the family room, and paying for the pleasure , we were surprised at how small the room was. It was... more

On a 2 night B&B and 1 evening meal deal with mother and 4 year old daughter. Firstly, hotel is badly signposted and even though we are familiar with the area had to ask directions at shop. Arrival (late in evening) - staff at rec v friendly, got to room, seemed a bit cool but thought no more about it.... more

My stay here last weekend (January 19-21, 2007) for our first wedding anniversary was so dreadful that we checked out at 10am on Saturday morning instead of Sunday afternoon. In brief: Arrived Friday evening to a deadpan receptionist who directed us to our room in what can only be described as the bowels of the hotel. Down a long, winding,... more

We had our wedding reception in the Stanville Lodge in September and it all went off seamlessly. We were delighted with the service provided by all the staff that had assisted us with the planning process and on the day itself. It made for a stress free and relaxed day for us and all our guests. Many of our guests... more

Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights to attend a family wedding. The first room stank of cigarettes, although we were moved quick enough. We checked in the day before the wedding and the 2nd room did not have a working shower or bath, they claimed they would call someone to fix the problem. The morning of the wedding it... more

Myself and my boyfriend stayed here on a 2BB and 1Dinner package. From the moment we checked in our stay was brilliant. Very friendly staff and we were in the executive suite which was very spacious and we also had our own balcony with a table and chairs, Ate in the restaurant on the first night, wonderful food and excellent... more

I stayed here with my boyfriend when it was newly renovated in January 04. We got a great deal and the hotel itself is gorgeous. Our room was large, the bed was huge and the bathroom was very clean and really nicely decorated. We even got a cute little rubber duck as a souvenir! The dinner we had as part... more

My fiance and myself looked at a number of hotels around the Wexford/Enniscorthy area before deciding to book the Stanville Lodge for our Wedding at the end of September 2005. It's a small friendly hotel located a few miles out of wexford town and is the perfect country retreat, just off the Wexford to Waterford road(N25) and just 2 miles... more
