this hotel needs a complete overhaul. all interior fixture and fittings needs updating, definitely not one of the best hotels we have stayed in. they are charging expensive prices for food and drink but there is no pleasant surroundings to enjoy these. saving grace is very pleasant staff more

We stayed at this hotel using their 2 night break offer, staying B&B. The rooms were large, a little dated but very clean. The sports facilities were excellent, we chose this hotel because of the squash courts. The pool was also good with a plentiful supply of towels available. The bar area was very comfortable and the food very good,... more

Booked via golfbreaks. My turn to book for a group of uni mates who only get together as a group every couple of years so the pressure was on to find somewhere good. Price was cheap so took a chance as it looked ok and reviews were fine. Hotel is what it says on the tin, a 3 star. Needs... more

We booked this through the RCI Partners Program. We had to exchange our week in Hawaii *and* four days on the Oregon Coast in order to have the number of credits for five nights here. To be honest, it wasn't worth it. Reception staff were uniformly good and I must praise Beckie for going the extra mile when RCI and... more

i do agree with some of the reviews regarding the decor of the hotel, but after a while you dont notice it - it isnt really the staffs fault... Upon entering my room, again it was a litle dated and shabby looking (like a travellodge really). HOWEVER....it was extremely clean. The bedding, towels and bathroom were spotless. The bedding was... more

I stayed here with my wife for one night on 19/10/07 for our anniversary. We also had our 9 year old daughter with us and had booked the break through the Daily Mail newspaper. We paid £73 for a family room which included our dinner, breakfast and a free bottle of wine with dinner. First of all don't expect to... more

After reading some of the other reviews of this hotel, i must admit i was extremely apprehensive about our annual golf trip for 8, which in the past has always had excellent accommodation. Arrival I will agree that the main route in towards the hotel does not give much hope, it seems a fairly depressing area. The hotel site is... more

We booked thru Golfbeaks.com for 9 golfers their partners and kids. We got a fantastic deal for 3 rounds of golf 2 days breakfast and dinner. The staff from check in to check out were excellent; they made a real effort especially for those who had kids preparing their meals heating up milk etc. The younger staff at the restaurant... more

Stayed in this depressing dump last week while on a business trip - My main bugbears were: Receptionist was rude and unfriendly (as were the bar and restaurant staff) - after saying that I would miserable as well if I had to work in that gloomy dump It was dark and badly in need of renovation You had to walk... more
