This hotel was well better than we expected. The room was large (there were three adults), the beds were comfy, towels were fluffy and white and all were very very clean. Breakfast was very good even without the hot food we British like. There were cereals, toast, croissants, jam, butter, fresh fruit, fruit juice, meat and cheese, coffee or tea... more

Yo Dudes, The hotel is a quite a tacky one but for the price you can't complain. You won't find may places cheaper and they had a triple room which not all hotels have. The room needed a bit of work but it was clean and tidy, which is all I care about. The staff were friendly enough. Cheers Chris more

Having stayed in this hotel in may 2006 during a visit to manchester to see Girls Aloud at the M.E.N. Arena i can honestly advise people to steer well clear of this establishment. The welcome was none exsistent and the room was dusty throughout, had a grubby carpet and a blown lightbulb. To add to this the main window in... more

I recently stayed at the copperheads hotel in order to attend a concert at the MEN Arena with a friend. i have also currently read the reviews for it and have now to disagree. the hotel has recently been refurbished and although it isn't top of the range when we arrived we were greeted immeadiatley and politely. The room was... more

Arrived at the Copperheads after a 3 hour delay on a nightmare journey from London, with only 45 minutes to spare before needing to be at the theatre in Salford Quays. The place appeared to be deserted - all the doors were locked - it took 5 minutes of hammering on the door, ringing the bell, and eventually telephoning, before... more

We stayed here in April 04 and let me just say one word "DUMP". This hotel if thats what you can call it is filthy and I would advise no-one to stay here not even a backpacker (we've stayed in hostels in Dublin that were cleaner and tidier than this "hotel") more

Who on earth gave this dump 3 stars?? Ime sorry but ime a budget traveller with very few needs apart from clean basic accomodation. This is a flop house. No staff, big old very poor room with grotty bathroom. We paid for breakfast but were told "not included". Various stains on the flooring. Who had died there? Reception was closed... more

My daughter and I stayed in this 'hotel'in 2003.I booked over the internet and the write up was exactly the same then as it is now.As it was our first visit to manchester.........we were going to a concert at the MEN arena ................we didn't know the area so when we arrived we took a taxi to the hotel from the... more

This is easily the worst place I have ever stayed. Grimy room with filthy headboards, an unclean bathroom with previous occupants stains in the toilet, pre-cooked and barely warm breakfast served by an incompetent. Street noise was unavoidable because the window had to stay open due to the smelly carpet. I couldn’t wait to leave, I don’t recommend you stay... more

I stayed in Copperheads in May, and while it was OK, I wouldn't particularly choose to stay there again. The room was very basic (and there's no lift in the hotel). The price was pretty good, but it was a bit of a walk to downtown (10-15minutes) and then even a bit more to the main nightlife areas. The problem... more
