The hotel and room I stayed in were quite obscure. On the day of my arrival I had no sheets on the bed, and no towels either. I guess that if it had not been for the young lady at the reception who quickly resolved all the problems, I would have left that place. more

The room was dirty and small - the worst I have stayed in since I stayed in a pension in Mexico 35 years ago. It had a window facing a backyard with linen hanging out to dry. We thought we were "lucky", because it was hot outside, but no sun on the room. However, the people working during the day... more

I had a two night stay booked at this hotel, but upon arrival we discovered the place was dirty, it smelled horrible, the shower was not working properly and the service was non-existent. The neighborhood was unsettling and did not seem safe. The room door barely locked. The owner maybe spoke two words to us and then handed the key.... more

A one night stay was booked as part of a birthday treat over the internet and as soon as we pulled up outside we knew we had made a mistake. The hotel does not have a welcoming appearance and on entering we were greeted by a locked reception area, workman working on our boiler in our room and dirty frayed... more

The Imperial Hotel was a very nice place to stay at. The room was nice very clean, and the overall environment was very nice. The Tv was working perfect, with good facilities in the room and a nice and clean toilet. Overall a nice place to stay with very good rates. Definitely Recommended. more

As I work in Manchester but live outside Stafford. I have used hotel as it is convenient and friendly, good value for money. They provide a decent breakfast and its clean. If you pay Malmaison prices you expect the best if after somewhere central with car park at reasonable price this is for you.. more

I don’t want to come across too negative in this review because the Imperial Hotel wasn’t THAT bad, there are just a few problems that would make anything other than a one night stay feel very uncomfortable. When we (a close friend and I) checked into the hotel we were told the Double en-suite room we’d booked a month ago... more
