Have spent 3 nights at the end of December 2007. Our room was of a nice size with black-out curtains that did not close. As the sun did not come out for 3 days it was not a big problem. The minibar (not filled completely because they run out of few items) was in a modern piece of furniture that... more

We stayed one night in a classic room overlooking the vineyard. The room was larger than we expected with a seperate sitting area near the double-door entrance (Room 4). We had our seven-month old daughter so we requested a crib. We were pleasantly surprised to see they had the crib already set up with a teddy bear, child's robe, and... more

A very nice chateau in a quiet village. Nice grounds, very romantic setting. We stayed at the classical room. It is not in the main building but only few meters away. Room was big and very good. Hotel has an inside/outside pool, sauna and steam room. Staff was very friendly. They opened the spa area way after closing for just... more

We stayed here for 2 nights in June and it was wonderful. We sat on the deck overlooking the vineyards and the view toward the Rhine, while we enjoyed a bottle of creme de alsace. We explored the lovely town of Rouffach. And we enjoyed both pools. Our room was not in the main chateau but was a good size... more

This was my third and longest visit to this Chateau hotel. I still enjoy coming here. Some of the negative comments are true and it can be expensive if you don't book in advance and get a deal of some sort. This year I got a reasonable rate which included breakfast. This made good value, though the breakfast was still... more

We stayed at the Chateau d'Isenbourg for 3 nights in May. Our room: We paid for a superior room and it was lovely. We had access to the roof terrace overlooking the gardens and the vineyards. The bed was large and comfortable, the furnishings nicely appointed, and the bathroom was large with a separate toilet and bidet. The service: Maid... more

A superb hotel in a fantastic position overlooking the vineyards. Excellent walking and a wonderful base from which to explore the area. We paid extra for a superior room and would recommend it. We had a large corner room with excellent views. In the traditional French chateau style the same fabric is used ot cover the walls, furniture and soft... more

While the Chateau is an attractive property with very nice walking trails, we had issues with the several aspects of our stay. Firstly, the "vineyard view" from our deluxe room featured the highway, and the bathroom was quite small for a hotel and room of this caliber. Secondly, the price of the breakfast was exhorbitant--25 euros. We did have dinner... more

We stayed at this Hotel for one night en route to Italy. We booked a Luxury room. However whilst the room was big it was furnished with very bright wallpaper, not to my taste. The room was faintly shabby in its decor and there was little to suggest luxury. For example there was no trouser press. The TV did not... more

We had a standard room in the grounds of the chateau but would upgrade next time so that we had a room in the chateau itself. It is very impressive with terraces on the lawn, near the pool, a bar terrace, a breakfast terrace and a restaurant terrace. There were lots of people staying but we never felt overcrowded because... more
