We were part of a Trafalgar European tour group (cost-saver). We stayed at this hotel 1 night and really spent minimal time in the room/hotel – after all we were in Europe to sightsee! Hotel’s positives - large room - 5 minutes by foot to city centre - comfortable beds - relatively large bathroom - really clean - modern hotel... more

Very difficult to find using the map on the website. Better look it up on Google... Nowhere to leave the car when we arrived (the minuscule forecourt is closed off with barriers) so had to leave it double-parked while I waited for the receptionist who was on her own and on the phone to a client. She was pleasant, and... more

Just returned from a stay and was pleased to find that the hotel was not 'worn out' as mentioned in another review. Perhaps they have refurbished since then. Pleasant reception, rooms simple but very clean with new bedlinen and curtains. A bit skimpy on shampoo, soap and towels. Furnishings are simple but functional and looked newly installed. Dining room pleasant... more

The best of this hotel is its central location. The cathedral, Town hall and rue St. Catherine are whithin walking distance. Close to the hotel you can find a shopping mall containing an Auchan Hypermarket, a couple of restaurants and stores like H&M and Zara. The hotel is also close to the street car. Ibis hotels are all similar, but... more

As part of a Cosmos 27 day tour of Europe we were booked here for our Bordeaux stop. Room: We had a dangerous issue with the shower spraying water on to a light fitting. We requested, and received an immediate room change. Other than that it was a basic, but dated, clean and tidy room. Breakfast: Standard Continental Breakfast. Nothing... more

The Hotel was very central to all the attractions and transport. As with any Ibis is was basic but clean. They did not provide tea/coffee facilites which was a bit of a pain but other than that is was good. Would recommend it as a base for exploring the area. more

The IBIS chain may not be the most exciting but they are generally well located, clean and reasonably priced. The IBIS Centre Meriadeck succeeds on all three counts. Located just 5 minute walk from the Cathedral Saint-Andre, this is an excellent base to explore the pleasant city centre. It is located opposite the “Palais de Justice” tram stop which gives... more
