The first room we stayed at was a disgrace! Very very small and low ceiling (1st floor), commercial neon lights over the bed board and the writing desk. Old carpets and blankets, but clean. 12 of us from the USA started our tour here in September 2002. Our guides felt this was the best 3-4 star hotel in Bordeaux. We really enjoyed this hotel; friendly staff and good buffet breakfast. The top 2 floors were recently remodeled and very comfortable. more

Great location on old town square, looks good from the outside, but beware! Horrid, musty, out-dated rooms, & NO service whatsoever. more
