Just finished our stay in Bordeaux at the Bayonne Etche-Ona. The hotel room was fine, with two single beds and decent sized bathroom. The location of the hotel was very central. The conference we attended was toward the north of the hotel and only about a 10 minute walk away. Directly south of us was Rue Sainte Catherine, a long... more

Stayed for 3 nights in September. Arrived late in the evening and met quite a rude gentleman at the reception. Despite booking this hotel on the actual best western website, they did not have any record of our reservation. The rude gentleman did not look up from his workstation while he spoke to me. He made a phonecall and told... more

My partner and I booked this hotel based on reviews we had read on Trip Advisor and previous reviews weren't far from the mark. We weren't in the annexure around the corner like a few of the previous reviews, we were situated in the main hotel location. The location was good, the staff were friendly, the room was big, the... more

not good value for money small pokey room and even smaller bathroom. Shower could have done with a clean. Had to ask for a kettle even though it was stated in room facilities. Hotel arranged taxi to air[port got totally ripped off. Tried to charge us for breakfast even though we didn't have any. Very disappointed couple from Wales. Stayed... more

My wife, 2 year old and I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights in July. It is a great central location from which to explore the city by foot. The hotel staff are very nice and helpful with excellent English if required. Parking is not quite as bad as might be thought. While the hotel itself is difficult to... more

I recently stayed for 2 nights - on arrival I was sent to the annex around the corner, this was great as it gets virtually no traffic so very little noise. The reception staff could not have been nicer, helped me out in booking taxis etc - my French is not good! Rooms are OK - nothing special but they... more

The hotel is located on a side street just off the main walk way to the Grand Opera House. There are lots of lovely little shops and large department stores. The hotel was fine and very clean, ! The shower was great (its hard to find a good shower in some hotels!) The pillows however were so lumpy and very... more

When we arrived at the hotel we were directed, by a helpful young lady, to the annexe around the corner. Having read about it on Trip Adviser, at least I wasn't surprised by this turn of events! The receptionist in the annexe was really welcoming and helpful. Her colleague around the corner had phoned ahead to let her know that... more
