Just spent another 4 nights in the Hotel Bristol and were not disappointed! Particularly friendly and helpful staff with a great welcome. The good news is that the hotel is gradually being refurbished and upgraded - although the dingy lighting and long delays for hot water appear to remain! We stayed three nights in this hotel and found it to be perfectly adequte for those on a budget. It's very conveniently placed on Place Gambetta, handy to the pedestrianised zone, walking distance from all the sights, and is clean and comfortable.
